No fewer than 150 people, including veterinarians and industry professionals, gathered to inaugurate the Morville-lès-Vic animal crematorium, which opened its doors on February 1st. Visitors were able to discover this facility, which offers a calm and reassuring atmosphere, and meet the team that welcomes and advises families who have lost a pet every day."Pets have become integral members of the family, and pet loss now affects family life. Funeral rites reflect the evolving role of pets in family and society," explains Vincent Dattée, veterinarian and deputy general manager of Anima Care.

A highly anticipated establishment

The number of households with pets is increasing, and with it, the demand for respectful funeral services. More and more families are also expressing the desire to pay their last respects to their companions in appropriate facilities, in order to begin their grieving process. The

Morville-lès-Vic crematorium can meet these growing demands while offering a local service to surrounding families.

Anima Care

Tailor-made support to meet the wishes of families

At the Morville-lès-Vic crematorium, families have the option of either an entrusted or accompanied cremation.
Two private rooms allow those who have opted for accompanied cremation to pay their respects within the crematorium. They also have the opportunity to say a final goodbye to their companion, who will be presented to them groomed in a dedicated room.
They can also leave their pet at their veterinary clinic, which will liaise with the crematorium. In the case of an entrusted individual cremation, the veterinarian will return the ashes to the family within 15 days.

Anima Care also offers additional services that allow you to keep a souvenir of the animal: paw and nose prints, collection of a lock of hair, personalized urn, cremation jewelry, etc.

A team available and attentive to families and veterinarians

The Morville-lès-Vic pet crematorium team consists of a director, three funeral assistants, two cremation officers, and a partnership manager. They welcome and advise families every day, helping them organize a personalized, respectful, and dignified tribute for their deceased companion.

Anima Care's ecological commitment

The Morville-lès-Vic animal crematorium, like other Anima Care crematoriums, is equipped with filtered cremation equipment that significantly reduces atmospheric emissions. At the forefront of technical innovation, these devices maximize their energy efficiency. The equipment is regularly inspected to ensure compliance with the high standards established by Anima Care, thus ensuring the peace of mind of local residents.

"Aware of the challenges of the energy transition and the commitment of families and professionals to respecting the environment, Anima Care is the only animal cremation company in France to have chosen to filter all of its cremation devices to reduce atmospheric emissions, even though there is no regulatory obligation on this subject," says Antoine Sénécaut, CEO of Anima Care.
