Do I Need to Be Concerned About Visible Emissions?
Rest assured, the OUYA-PCFD100 line ensures complete combustion within its temperature-controlled large secondary chamber. Over 99% of volatilized carbon produced during combustion is converted to carbon dioxide.
To further guarantee environmental compliance, an Opacity Sensor is strategically placed at the stack's base. It continuously monitors exhaust gas clarity. If the opacity exceeds 20%, the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) automatically shuts down the primary burner. Simultaneously, it adjusts the combustion air supply to slow the combustion rate, preventing any visible emissions from escaping the stack.
With the OUYA-PCFD100 line, we prioritize not only efficiency but also environmental responsibility, ensuring minimal visible emissions throughout the cremation process.
What material is used in the construction of the stack, and is there a risk of it catching fire?
Our stacks are crafted from robust steel plates and meticulously lined with three inches of insulating, castable material. This lining is designed to endure temperatures exceeding 2,500 degrees, ensuring durability and safety.
Unlike traditional fireplace chimneys, cremation equipment stacks don't pose a fire risk. The absence of creosote in the cremation process, particularly after the secondary burning phase, eliminates the potential for stack fires. It's important to note that some manufacturers use unlined stacks with air-cooling, which, under specific conditions, may lead to elevated temperatures and potential combustion of construction materials, posing a risk of building fires.
Rest assured, our stacks are engineered for both efficiency and safety, providing a secure and fire-resistant solution for cremation processes.
Do you provide start-up and training services?
Yes. Once the customer notifies us that the installation is complete, Mteptech technicians will travel to the site to conduct equipment commissioning. Our technicians will stay on-site for up to three days to complete the curing of the cremator's refractory lining, start up the equipment, adjust air and gas settings, and verify all systems. During the start-up, the technician will perform a cremation and provide basic operational training to the crematory personnel. To ensure the training runs smoothly, a cremation must be available for demonstration at the time of start-up.
